Energy Trust of Oregon pays for a big share of the job.
TCS is certified as a Trade Ally for Energy Trust of Oregon — meaning the cash incentives for attic, wall and floor insulation come straight off your invoice instead of a rebate you have to chase six weeks later. On the right-sized job, the incentives can cover all of what you would have paid.
What this looks like on the invoice
You get the full install — materials, labor, cleanup — and Energy Trust's incentive is applied at the end. Depending on how much area is eligible, some homeowners finish this job with a $0 final bill.

Baseline owner-occupied rate. The fastest way to cut heating and cooling load in an Oregon home.

The real questions
Asked before almost every job.
Usually there’s a gap. A lot of Oregon homes have the original 1970s–80s insulation, which was installed to a standard that doesn’t match what a comfortable, efficient home needs today. But the right answer comes from measuring what’s there first — not from a guess or a sales pitch. That’s part of the estimate.
It depends on how much space we’re insulating, what’s already there, and whether we need to do air sealing first. We give a written estimate after we’ve looked at your specific house, and that number is the number you pay. If you want a rough ballpark before we meet, tell us the rough age and size of the house and we’ll give you an honest range with the caveats spelled out.
Most single-family homes are a day or two of work on site, including cleanup. Bigger jobs — full attic replacements plus crawlspace and air sealing — can take a couple more days. You’ll know the exact plan once we’ve measured.
We bring our own crew. That’s how we keep the estimate the estimate, and the schedule the schedule. No surprise “oh, we’ll have the other guys come back to finish.”

Because TCS is registered as Energy Trust of Oregon's Trade Ally, the cash incentive (currently $0.75–$2.25 per square foot depending on area and eligibility) is paid to us and applied to your invoice — for many homes it comes out to a $0 final bill. It depends on your utility, how much area qualifies, and your household's eligibility, so we confirm the exact number for your house before we quote.
