We walk the space, then quote
A real look at the attic, rim joist and the big leak points. You get a written estimate the same day, or within a couple of days for bigger jobs.
We seal, then we install
The leaks get sealed first so the insulation can actually work. Then we install to the target R-value and check it as we go.
We clean up, we hand you the paper
You get a walkthrough, the receipts, and the before/after numbers to keep for a future resale or energy audit.

The real questions

Usually there’s a gap. A lot of Oregon homes have the original 1970s–80s insulation, which was installed to a standard that doesn’t match what a comfortable, efficient home needs today. But the right answer comes from measuring what’s there first — not from a guess or a sales pitch. That’s part of the estimate.
It depends on how much space we’re insulating, what’s already there, and whether we need to do air sealing first. We give a written estimate after we’ve looked at your specific house, and that number is the number you pay. If you want a rough ballpark before we meet, tell us the rough age and size of the house and we’ll give you an honest range with the caveats spelled out.
Most single-family homes are a day or two of work on site, including cleanup. Bigger jobs — full attic replacements plus crawlspace and air sealing — can take a couple more days. You’ll know the exact plan once we’ve measured.
We bring our own crew. That’s how we keep the estimate the estimate, and the schedule the schedule. No surprise “oh, we’ll have the other guys come back to finish.”
